I didn’t waste any time putting My House to use, and I had just the student in mind to try it out with for the first time. My student, her mom and I had so much fun singing about “her house” for the first time last week! Each page allowed an opportunity for her to name the person/room/item in the photo, and then find the word to match. After we labeled each photo with the correct word, we went back through and sang the song together. I have to tell you just how impressed I am with this new resource. My student looks forward to singing about “her house” every week, and she has made some awesome progress on her reading and identification goals!

My House

Review by Rachel Rambach author of, "Tapping, Shaking, Music Making!"

Having had training in Level 1 Bonny-Method, I was unsure of how useful this would be. I was totally surprised by how this book expanded my repertoire of recorded music and how to think of those pieces in relation to the imagery. It was a great way to think of new ways to use music and imagery in my practice, and I have come up with other creative imagery experiences because of Stephanie’s great ideas. I loved the gentle language. It was also helpful to have these as shorter experiences since often in medical settings patients may only have 10-15 minutes before another member of the treatment team walks in. Bravo Stephanie!

Diving Deeper: 30 Guided Visualization Scripts

Review by Danielle Oar, MT-BC

Kimberly’s book was an awesome resource!! It gave me just enough information to dive in without overwhelming me in the process. It truly gave me the confidence I needed to get started on the right foot. I’m always recommending it to fellow therapists thinking about private practice!
