Quarters
(Learning how to count coins)
A mother of one of my clients asked if I could create a song to help her daughter differentiate between the sizes of the nickel, dime, and quarter. Without hesitation I said, “YES!” – I love it when parents are involved and inquire about specific topics/areas of need for their child.
Because I had sung “Deep in the Heart of Texas” that morning with another client, I (almost subconsciously) decided to piggyback off of that melody.
