Having had training in Level 1 Bonny-Method, I was unsure of how useful this would be. I was totally surprised by how this book expanded my repertoire of recorded music and how to think of those pieces in relation to the imagery. It was a great way to think of new ways to use music and imagery in my practice, and I have come up with other creative imagery experiences because of Stephanie’s great ideas. I loved the gentle language. It was also helpful to have these as shorter experiences since often in medical settings patients may only have 10-15 minutes before another member of the treatment team walks in. Bravo Stephanie!

This book has been inspiring to me as a music therapist and counselor working in the area of wellness because it has been reminding me how impactful guided visualizations can be. Stephanie spells out very clearly things to take into consideration when doing guided visualizations, and the scripts she provides cover a variety of themes. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in incorporating guided visualizations into their work.
